  1. The Hirer is to provide their own power supply and power lead of adequate strength to accommodate voltage loss over distance. (minimum recommended thickness to be 2.5mm core.)
  2. Jolly Jump Castles will not be held responsible for any power outages.
  3. Hirer to ensure standby generators, if necessary.
  4. The hirer to acknowledges that it is necessary at all times to have a responsible adult in attendance to supervise children and undertake to ensure strict compliance of safety rules, herewith simultaneously indemnifying the owner against any claim whatsoever that may be made against Jolly Jump Castles, its staff or the owner by anyone, whether the equipment is in use or not.
  5. THE OWNER DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS, DAMAGE , INJURY OR DEATH THAT MAY OCCUR TO ANY PERSONS OR PROPERTY WHATSOEVER UNDER ANY CONDITIONS, INCLUDING ACTS OF GOD, WHILE THE HIRED EQUIPMENT IS ON THE PREMISES OF THE HIRER OR IN THE POSSESSION OF THE HIRER OR HIS REPRESENTATIVE.
  6. Inflatables need space on a grassed area free of sharp objects eg sticks and stones.
  7. Beware of obstacles from above when jumping.
  8. Beware of jumping near entrance way to avoid falling out.
  9. People with neck and or back injuries are not permitted to jump on inflatables.
  10. No adults may use our KIDS inflatables!
  11. Adults only to use equipment specifically specified for ADULT use.
  12. No shoes, jewellery and sharp objects on the inflatables.
  13. Do not play on the inflatable whilst it is being inflated or deflated.
  14. KEEP BLOWER FANS DRY AT ALL TIMES.
  15. ONLY WATERSLIDES MAY BE USED WITH WATER.
  16. JUMPING CASTLES / INFLATABLES MAY NOT GET WET.
  17. In case of rain, users are to get off the inflatable so that the blower fan can be switched off and taken indoors. Castles can then be folded over to remain dry for later use.
  18. Jumping castles Must be DEFLATED DURING HEAVY WINDS to prevent danger to persons and damage to equipment.
  19. Damage occurring because the jumping castles was not deflated (and packed away) due to heavy wind will not be covered under Acts of God. Wind (like rain) is a reality in Cape Town.
  20. All damages or theft incurred to the fun items, equipment and motors while in possession of the hirer or his representative, will be payable by the hirer unless mutually agreed to in writing by both parties.
  21. The onus of safe use of equipment lies with the person/persons/company hiring/using this equipment.
  22. Remember equipment is not suitable for rough play!
  23. Securing pegs and sandbags put in place by Jolly Jump Castles staff are not to be removed or relocated for whatever reason.
  24. Damage as a result of the above not being adhered to will be charged to the hirer.
  25. If the party is cancelled for whatever reason, Jolly Jump Castles will allow a postponement to a later date (within a 2 month period) provided that the same item is available.
  26. In the case of unfavourable weather, we will endeavour to replace the item with an indoor item, if the space allows and subject to availability.
  27. No refunds, for whatever reason, will be entertained.
  28. TRICTLY NO FACE PAINT. THE HIRER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REMOVAL OF FACE PAINT FROM THE INFLATABLE AT THEIR OWN COST.
